Jefferson's University, The Early Life

Jefferson's University, the Early Life (JUEL) is an ongoing project in collaboration with the University of Virginia's Office of the Provost. The first facet of the project is to make public early University records, personal recollections, and images that document the early years of the University of Virginia, from its founding in 1819 until the end of the Civil War. This will be achieved through searchable University records and essays focusing on events documented in primary resources. The second facet is a digital reconstruction of the original Academical Village resulting in renders, animations, and an interactive model.
